Plans for 2009

With 2009 coming far to soon for most of our likings it's time to announce what you will have to look forward for 09/2010.....

We don't usually post match reports..

But seeing as though this match was against eK, i think we might just have to.

Most people will recognize where i based this match report on.
"We smashed them to bits guys! Still can't belive they tried.

Can't play fair? Go ahead n fold eK^! Don't worry, we might let You steal more of our fail members - oh wait, all the remaining members are loyal.

Man of the Match goes to all impact members and Snape for being a team mascot :o"

So even though eK had hours of training before hand and also had people playing on others steam accounts they still managed to lose 24 - 6.

We will all be awaiting eK's views and match report on their website which should be up soon i'm guessing... oh wait, i forgot to mention they only post mix win results.

Every one in the impact team had a very chilled out match and are awaiting eK's next challenge.

At this stage of the match report if i were writing it from eK's point of view i might add in a few "Impact are downers tbh" or even "did mark play? mark is so bad. he must have played." But no we here at impact don't sink that low.

Good game lads better luck next time.

Well done every one in the ED team for achieving another most recommended award. We were only a few from getting gold again but silver will do :D

Service Downtime!

If any of you was up and about before 14:00 today you will of noticed that we had downtime for a few hours this morning/afternoon, due to unexpected server maintainence from Tigit.
We do apologise for the downtime, i have resumed all normal services for now. If you notice any bugs or errors still floating around please let it be known on our forums so i can sort ASAP. I'm sure Mark will do some fine tweaking later tonight but until then you have me! Muhahahah etc...

New L4D Server Online

Hello folks, we now have a left 4 dead server up and running. To connect to it at the moment type connect 81.19.221.27:27070 into your console. Currently set at 4 slots. Will look into more of the settings and things when i have time.

In other news we are looking to host a Cod World at war server very soon. More will be posted here when it's up and running.

What to expect!

The Impact crew are getting very excited this week with the release of three new hot games. World Of Warcraft WOTLK, Left 4 Dead and COD5 World At War. rest assured we will be hitting all of these new titles hard and fast as well as storming the most recomended charts in EnemyDown this month!
Impact has been going through some bad times this month as we say goodbye to several members of it's CS:S core team.
So just to keep all our dying fans in the heat of things we have alot of excitement coming this month and i'm sure for alot of us we will be having mid-life crisis's deciding which game to play!

Community Servers Update

Hello,

I have some great news to give you all :)

As you all should know we have had some problems over the past couple of days with our old server host.

We had to take the decision to move to our own dedicated server to give us full control over our servers. Meaning if any problems do arise then we can fix it straight away.
All servers can be changed hassle free now, so if we wanted to lower the tick rate on a server we could do easily without having to change server costs and getting the host to do it.
There are also alot of other features as some of you may know about.

Community server downtime.

Hello,

As some of you may have noticed in the past couple of days quite a few of our servers have gone offline. We are currently experiencing some problems with our host and a few servers will have to be rebuilt from scratch.
Believe me i will do everything i can to get our servers back up and running like they we're before this issue and will keep every one up to date on whats going on.

Estimated time is a couple of days for everything to be put back to normal.

We appreciate your patience and understanding on this matter and hope to have everything back on track very very soon.

New Community Website Up And Running.

We are pleased to announce that the we are making changes to our community website which should be alot better with more content and easier navigation for every one.

The site is still under construction but stay tuned because we hope to have it up and running fully very soon!
